Dr. Courtney is the president and principal consultant of Technology
Works and C7 Enterprises, LLC).
She has over 15 years of experience in passionately helping organizations,
learning teams, and training professionals successfully transform learning
into equitable experiences. She has participated in over 100 industry
conferences as a speaker, expert panelist, and workshop trainer. She
advises learning and development leaders in areas like virtual classroom
strategy, technology selection, logistics, and more.
Dr. Courtney’s career experience spans across both the public and private
sectors. She has served as an educator in Cobb County School District for
over ten years then as a Technology Training Integration Specialist. While
at Cobb County School District, she supported the roll-out of Microsoft Office
enterprise for over 100 schools. She also worked as a Digital Learning
System Administrator for Corporate Brokers on assignment to McKinsey &
Company, where she co-led the content management for the mobile learning
application launch. In 2017, she joined Digital Promise Global as an
Associate Director of Professional Learning, where she led the professional
learning model for the Verizon Innovative Learning School coaches. The
course is recognized as a graduate-level certification course for Western
Governors University as well as micro-credential eligible.
Dr. Courtney’s professional experience includes Director of Coaching for
Verizon Innovative Learning Schools.
Dr. Courtney is a graduate of Alabama State University, Troy University, and
Nova Southeastern University.
She believes that when organizations align learning to their business
outcomes and invest in their employees’ continual learning experiences, they
will see an increase in productivity.
